Dun'de needed a new blanket. His old Well-known blanket of 10+ years was falling apart. Belly straps rotted and chest straps frayed to the point they were a plain to get thru the buckles. It served my horses well. So, I came across this one. It fit like a glove, it is heavy and keeps him warm at 32 degrees. Love the belly pad keeps him dry laying down outside and protects the straps form getting wet on the ground. It should last another 10+ years. Plenty of colors to choose from. He's a red Dun Ranch horse and wine looks great on him. It has so many features, neck opening adjusts with Velcro, chest has nice clip buckles, no more fraying straps, has 2 different adjustments. Pleated on the legs, so easy getting up, no pulling on the blanket. Tail flap keeps those cold winds from blowing in. In 50 plus years with horses this is probably one of the best I have bought. The ad pic on package should not show the hood. I thought I was getting one, because it said comfortable standard neck. It's an optional buy. But its ok, great fit, well made and a very reasonable price.
