It really is. It's by FAR the best blanket we've ever seen, much less owned. Of all the gifts I've bought my wife (married 23-1/2 years) over the last 25 years, including jewelry, trips, etc, my wife says this is the best present she's e er received. It's noy that my gifts suck, it's that this blanket is that good. We've owned it exactly 3-1/2 years as of next week. My wife sits under every night during the time that we watch tv. That's approximately 1200 evenings! Plus my kids are always using it. It probably has 4000 hours of use and it's fine. If I washed it right now and threw in 3 tablespoons of softner, it would feel like new again. Oh, 4000 hours of use and probably washed and high heat dried around 75 or 80 times after doing the math. There are no loose threads, worn areas, really I don't know what to say there's none of because it's still like new. This isn't just the best blanket we've ever owned, this is the best THING we've ever owned. Nothing else can get used for like 4-5 hours a day, every day, for over 1200 days, washed/dried like 75 - 80 times, and literally, I swear, still look and feelsl like new. It's magic or something. I simply cannot recommend it enough.
